about

Written by Susannah Masarie. I use to live in Triplett, which is below Deep Gap outside of Boone, NC. I loved the house and area I lived in. I wrote this song while I was sitting on the front porch. The house was set in the back of a large yard, Elk Creek was just across the street, and you could see the mountains around you. It was at a lower elevation than Boone and Deep Gap. I could walk or ride my bike to a waterfall that was nearby. I also enjoyed riding my bike around the surrounding area too. I lived twelve miles from downtown Boone, it was a twenty minute drive to town from the house. The last four miles winded you down a long curvy road to the valley I lived in. I miss living in the Boone area, this was my favorite of the places I lived there.
